Viewing the Cherry Blossoms Around the Tidal Basin In Washington, DC

Clare and I had the pleasure of viewing the cherry blossoms around the Tidal Basin in Washington, DC, a few weeks ago with our friends Andrew and Vicki. I was grateful that Andrew volunteered to drive because parking was a nightmare. We did get a parking space, from which walking to the sights was easy, so God is good!  It was peak weekend so not only was parking bad but the crowds were a bit disconcerting.  Nonetheless, the visit was enjoyable, we got some good pictures, and had a nice picnic lunch on the side of the Potomac River across from National Harbor.
