Equipment

  • baking sheet
  • 1 mixing bowl

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb butter
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups chopped pecas
  • 5 tbsps sugar
  • 2 tsps vanilla
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • powdered sugar to roll cookies in

Instructions

  • cream butter
  • add sugar, vanilla, and water
  • stir flour and salt together, stir into mixture
  • add pecans and mix thoroughly
  • shape into crescents
  • place on lightly greased baking pan
  • bake at 325 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes
  • roll in powdered sugar
